Tas Pride picnicers

TasPride is Tasmania’s leading GLBTIQ community organisation, providing state-wide support and resources for over 20 years. It produces the TasPride Festival each November, hosts cultural events throughout the year – including the popular Queens Ball each June.

The community centre also promotes a wide range of activities produced all year round by the many GLBTIQ organisations in Tasmania, like WIO.Working it Out is a free gender, sexuality and intersex support and education service.

Taste of Houn – March TBA
A Taste of the Huon is a celebration of fine food, wine, arts, crafts and entertainment from the Huon Valley, Dentrecasteaux Channel and Bruny Island regions. Held at Ranelagh which is only 30 minutes scenic drive south of Hobart, the festival is held over the long weekend in March each year, drawing over 20,000 people throughout its two-day program.
