King Island is off the northern coast of Tasmania, the island state that has many islands to brag about. You would be hard pressed to find one more beautiful or harder to get to than King Island - but it's worth the effort to reach this epitome of unspoilt land. Especially if you're a gourmand, because King Island is world famous for its cheeses and other local gourmet delights, making it worth the trip just to indulge yourself in the food and the peace and quiet.

Three studio cabins have open plan sleeping, sitting and kitchen spaces. Each has a queen sized bed plus a double sofa bed and trundle bed (sleeps up to 5). The tipis are not quite luxury cabin, not quite camping. They are carpeted and include a double pull out bed, wood heater, solar electric lights and a covered deck.
Campervan and walk-in tent sites are each sited separately to give a good degree of privacy. The showers and toilets are modern and comfortable. The camp kitchen offers gas oven, hotplates and barbecue, hot water and tables.
