The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras has grown from a local gay pride event to being arguably the most spectacular gay and lesbian event in the world.
 Just recently Conde Nast listed us amongst the 10 most spectacular costume events. We are right up there with Venice and Rio. 2009 marks the 31st year and it promises to be one of our biggest and best yet.
